A Fly farmer's fortune.

Freddy the Fly Farmer was quite a sight to see,
He tended to his flies with care and with much love and glee.

He sang to them sweetly, and called them by their name,
And when they buzzed around him, he felt no caring shame.

He had a farm of flies, all shapes and many sizes,
Some were small and some were as big as massive prizes.

He fed them scraps and bits of rotted cheese,
And watched them buzz around happily and with ease.

But the other farmers thought he was quite a sight so strange,
For who would want a farm of flies rather than a game range?

They laughed and joked for hours , and shook all day their head,
And said "Freddy's farm its better off dead!"

But Freddy just smiled, and kept on tending,
For he knew his flies were never-ending.

He bred them, fed them, and gave them soecial love,
And watched them soar the skies just like a pretty dove.

And when the summer came, and the flies were at their peak,
Freddy sold them all, that day and made a fortune in that week.

The other farmers were shocked, and had to admit,
That "Freddy the Fly Farmer" was a genius, bit by bit.

So if you ever need some flies for a pet,
Just remember Freddy, and don't you go fret.

He'll sell you the best flies , and you'll be sure to come and see,
That his flies are the happiest that they can be.
