Time has blown you away from me like strong winds,
I hope you don't forget what we have shared...
It seems like it was only yesterday when we were kids
Love intense and the deepest parts of our souls we bare.
Those two young kids had some good times for sure,
But also they had some bad too,
It seems like that was only yesterday that their love began,
Those little buds have now began to bloom,
Over the years though, like others, life has happened quickly it seems, Intense love somehow has stumbled into a tired pause,
Their passion is on a slow fade,
Both forgetful of why or the exact cause.
Their busy lives were filled each day with work and children and more,
That tiresome daily routine has overtaken them both,
Forgetting what was important to them from the start,
Love has become a given without time to further explore.
Why can't they both see it's time to relax and unwind,
Get back to that place again,
Put themselves in the number one place,
Let their love be renewed like those kids who had the time.
Let their love take them places they never knew about before,
Without a worry or anything else to think about but them,
Two souls unite as one,
Renewed passions spark and soar.
Two lovers living life they dreamed about so long ago,
Letting their love drift them away,
Two people in love again,
Forming a loving connection as they become one soul.
