I'm living a funny life
life at the moment;
the world's been overtaken
by anger, tiktok and
COVID
Groundhog day,
each one's the same,
but everyone struggling in
a new way.
Our distractions,
they have been taken away!
the things we do to distract ourselves
are gone, and
A spot light shone
on all of our flaws |
Addressing them is raw,
and often sore.
Loneliness is seeping into us
at every pore.
but reminding us
that sometimes it's okay to pickup
the remote of our lives
and click pause.
