The girl I fell in love with
The girl I fell in love with is painted of warm brown, her mahogany body bleeds with melanin and makes her skin look sweet like that of an almond. She holds the stars captive in her hypnotic eyes which at one glance is comparable marvel. Out of all her qualities, it is her heart I find most appealing, it is ingrained with the passion one finds when telling the things they love, it is fierce like a thunderbolt striking from the heavens when the sky frowns and rages with anger. You are beautiful beyond measure and I have yet to understand your elusive mind so full of complications. I want you, which is why I am standing below your window, the moonlight shines on me as I read you a poem I wrote for you and the world becomes my stage. The rain hit my face with gentleness and it is my audience who claps and welcomes me because I am here to tell you, you are my true love. Where do I begin, I am just a man with a pen and his notebook whose heart is as vast as the ocean but can only be fulfilled by your love. So, I brush my fingers on your face, as a painter does his brush, your beauty is truly an art. Now all I can ever do is stare and not blink for if I do I am afraid I would miss the second enlightenment.
