Memories

Makes happiness happen
When you're out of time?

Make new eyes
For the blind?

Makes sweet kindnesses
Come from what was unkind?


Only Jesus

Makes a right out of a wrong
Makes defeat sing a new song
Places you where you belong

He's not troubled
By the words you couldn't trust
By a romance gone to rust
By a life left in the dust


You can find him
Walking down a road
In your mind, after seeds
Have been sowed
In your heart, as Truth unfolds.

You can know him
By the beautiful words he said
By the way he suffered and bled
And then rising from the dead



Once, I was a stranger
He took me in
Gave salvation for my sin
I was in prison
He met me there
Someday, we'll meet him
In the air...
