Trapped

In the sickness of your love I was caged like lungs inside the ribs.
Weep for cure even pure was fine in a dark cave without light.
I was brave to sip in a casket of a rotten love to express my devotion even if the portion was poisonous.

In the shackles of your love
I was Intoxicated; crippled to the doze off your feelings.
I was trapped I needed healing.

I was jailed in your words
without bail cause I took
an oath to death to us apart.
Your love strapped me naked
To the purest truth.
The claws of your brokenness
Shadowed your flaws only
Illuminated your kindness which hypnotized me to fall for you.
