'O Lord, my God, I think upon Thee all the day long, and my soul doth yearn for the sound of Thy voice. Thou art He who upholdeth all things, who giveth breath unto the earth, the Mighty One who formed the heavens and the earth by Thy Word. Yet Thou, O King of Zion, didst behold me in my low estate, and with great mercy didst Thou reach down unto me.

O my God, look upon me now with favor, for Thou hast drawn me out of the pit, and set my feet upon a rock. Let me not return unto the depths of my own destruction. Thou wast with me in the hour of darkness, and by Thy hand alone was I delivered. O Lord, let my lips ever sing Thy praises, though my words be but dust, and my heart faileth me. Hear the cry of mine innermost being, O Lord, for I am unworthy to speak Thy name.
