Labyrinth of the mind
I chase after what I want
and at the same time
loose what I really need,
I gravitate
and recede
further into my minds
labyrinth,
into those dark places
those negative spaces,
the walls eat my bread crumbs
I am lost,
is this the price I pay
is this my cost?
to be imprisoned with knowledge, truth and fear,
am I alone in here?
I need to be freed,
I need
I need a gentle voice to guide me
a gentle hand to pull me out
a gentle embrace to hold me tightly
and a mind that understands mine
to hand me a candle that burns brightly,
for when I return.
