In the end it was just me and my thoughts,
A painful trap, long after you were gone.
The echoes of your laughter caught,
In memories that linger on.

The waves that once brought joy and peace,
Now crash with sorrow's tone,
In every crest, I find release,
Yet still, I feel alone.

The moonlit nights, the sunlit days,
They pass without your light,
In every drop, in every haze,
I search through endless night.

Yet in this solitude, I find,
A strength within my soul,
For though you're gone, your love defined,
A part that makes me whole.

In every tear, in every sigh,
A whisper of your name,
And though you left, I won't deny,
Your love's eternal flame.
