Dryad:Caretaker of Ter'rah
In all my travels throughout the ages,
I have taken a lot in my pages.
Truly a beauty and a mystery,
A Protector of the green,
The spirit of the land.
A mother who tends to the Forests.
My eye beholds the essence of life.
Through her work, the world continues to prosper.
All insects and animals benefit from her labors.
Behold the growth of the mighty Oak,
The bloom of the Crimson Rose,the
Humming as nector is taken in as nutrients,
An aroma of allure from the flora.
Rest the body and mind I do, as all around me is taken in.
Even the beauty of the caretaker of the world.
Not a word is spoken or awoken within me.
For it is indescribable, how a figure of lore could hold such knowledge of life.
Loving and caring,
yet distant and timid.
Has nature come to life?
Is a higher power at work?
I cannot say...
May I rest under the shade,
may I take in the fresh air,
may I do my part and give back to nature.
