I was able to breathe again and make peace for the first time.

Without looking over my shoulder back in the past.
I could feel life passing me by.
How I lag behind.
I could feel myself standing alone.
Sometimes I was afraid of my own shadow.
It always felt to me like I was getting anxious at every stage of my life.
I was able to calm down after so many years and start finding peace.
After I was able to open my heart to you.
This was the beginning of freedom for me.
A new beginning awaits me on the horizon.
