We're tragic creatures,
aren't we?

We stumble
and we stutter
through the rubble
and the clutter
from the messes
that we make
of each other.

We're fragile,
and so we break
every bond
that we make,
just to get up
and rebuild
and recover.

In spite
of the mess,
we try again
nevertheless;
so tragic
little creatures
we'll always be.
