Bakasura: The Demon's Reign and Hero's Curse
Bakasura, Bakasura, mighty demon of lore,
Feared by all who knew of his gruesome roar.
A monster of immense size and strength,
His appetite for flesh knew no length.
In the land of Vedic myth and legend,
Bakasura's reign was always reckoned.
A terror to both gods and men,
His hunger was never sated, it seemed.
With his razor-sharp teeth and claws,
Bakasura would hunt without pause.
Devouring all that came in his way,
No living being was safe from his prey.
But then came the hero Bhima, so bold,
A warrior with a heart of gold.
He challenged Bakasura to a fight,
And the demon knew he was in for a plight.
With all his might, Bhima fought,
And with each blow, Bakasura was brought down a notch.
Till finally, with a mighty cry,
Bhima vanquished the demon's vile lie.
And so Bakasura, the monster so feared,
Was no more, his reign ended, his power cleared.
But his name lives on in tales and verse,
