The Lies We Were Told
Haven't you heard it too?
The fact that old age birth death
and childhood is filled with laughter and cherished memories,
without worries of hustling, just lying on mama's lap,
playing with toys.
But what about those heart that died
too young?
Frozen like winter and dreams faded into ecstasy of fantasy.
The notion which portray darkness - night
and light - day, is frail.
Light a candle, it alter darkness.
All these sentiments of how a perfect life we would live, but to wake in its reality of imperfection is daunting.
Love is made beautiful only when
it’s with the right people.
Shouldn't it be shared equally among humans?
whether you deserve to be loved or not.
Blood that is thicker than water stays true to its notion
merely because it is not a means of survival.
If it was, it will be water of a different color.
