Freedom... #3
From chains and shackles, we broke free,
Our spirits yearning to be unbound,
The weight of oppression no longer to be,
A newfound strength within us found.

Our hearts beat with a fierce desire,
To live our lives with dignity and pride,
No longer to be consumed by the fire,
Of a master's whip, our souls to hide.

The journey was long and hard,
With pain and suffering we were tried,
But in our hearts, we held the card,
Of hope and faith, we never died.

Our ancestors fought for our rights,
And we honor them with every breath,
We stand tall and take flight,
In a world where freedom is our quest.

No more do we walk with heads bowed,
No more do we live in fear,
We raise our voices, we speak out loud,
Our freedom, we hold so dear.

We are the survivors of a dark past,
But we choose to live in the light,
Our freedom, forever to last,
A beacon shining bright.

From the ashes of slavery,
We rose like a phoenix from the flame,
Our spirits now soaring and free,
Our destiny, ours to claim.
