The journey has come to an end,
Weaving through meandering paths,
Sometimes alone, often with a friend
If only we could do it all again
Limitless, unmeasurable time certainly is not our friend
But as the world gets older and colder
It's good to know where the journey ends
This old road has been our lifeline
Our close companion and best friend
There's really no beginning nor no end
So enjoy it while you're here
Tomorrows never guaranteed
And before you know it, you'll be home happy and free
But all in all, the journey takes you all the way
With many trials and pitiful dismay
It's a long hard road
So you might need a friend to help you carry the load
Although each of us have our own journey that's just the way it goes
Sometimes together and sometimes all alone
The mysteries of the journey will never unravel
But it's often a lonely, winding path that we all must travel
As the mind roams across oceans looking into the lost forgotten years
And though we walk the road together,
there is no one there to dry our tears
But we've got many memories that time cannot mend
There's no need yet to caution no need for amen
We"ll continue defying gravity, while everything's slowly withering
Because life's an endless battle that we just can't win
It's a cold, cold world you're walking through, which leads to a dead end
But when our journey is complete
We will all sow whatever we have reaped
It's a long, long road
From which there is no return
So while here, lets help each other at every chance and turn!!
