I thought I lost a heart at sea_0
It's always been a dark_misty
3am morning in here!
Standing solely besides the ship's helm,
staring without seeing
as thick cold air sweeps against
my pale_numb skin.
And I know I long lost a heart at sea,
tortured by the inevitability
of having to adopt to this new normal
without a thing on me to lose, or gain.
Until somewhere almost out of nowhere, arouse the snow-white moon,
too bright consuming the fog
and I see to see a silhouette of a maiden's
sailing forth toward me.
Her eyes glittering in the moon's lantern.
So graceful, she whispers sweet optimism to me, that, "this won't be as that that once befell!"
And I get this little warmth in my heart,
knowing I at least won't have to explore these vast waters alone!
