Amidst
a cacophony of sounds
if you're not listening you will not hear
hear it's pounding heart
thunderous stomping beat
behind soft wind chimes
and harmonious melodies'
no you don't hear them now
you're too busy shouting to hear
if you'd only be still and pause you lips
for even just an hour
then listen to the sounds of silence
silence
speaks ever so softly
at first you may not realise, stay paused
do not utter a single word
you'll hear silence and everything it says...
