In our garden bright and fair,
little Cousin played without a care.

Tears and cries, they all did moan,
When Lucy the dog joined the tone.
Snatching the red, a playful spree,
Leaving us in a laughing free.

Together we planted, side by side,
Watering each with love and pride.
Days flew by, with sun and dew,
Watching buds bloom, bright and new.

After weeks of care so sweet,
Red roses bloomed, a joyful feat.
