A crack on my wall
old and bold
I wonder
What was it for?
a toddler bumping into it
or an old man's trudge
a teenager throwing tantrum
or husband-wife catastrophe
a party with friends
or a frustrated failure
answer to these questions
only the crack knows
whereas I can
just sit here and go on...
