Inquiry’s Dance
Someone has asked you a question,
Into realms too personal, an indiscretion.
A first impression, fragile and thin,
Yet the inquiry delves deep within.
It feels like a breach of unspoken trust,
A probing gesture, leaving you nonplussed.
But in this dance of uncertainty and doubt,
You navigate cautiously, without a shout.
For you might be wrong, irrational in thought,
In this initial exchange, truth may be caught.
So tread lightly, with grace and tact,
Inquiry's dance, a delicate act.
