Hateful Ones
What stirs the embers of your ire,
And kindles hatred's raging fire?
What wounds you carry, what scars you hide?
A cry of pain, a scream of despair
The flames of fury, they dance and play

Your heart, a cauldron of anger and strife
Boiling over, ready to take life
Your words, a sword, sharp and true
Cutting down, all that's false, all that's new
Why do you judge and scorn?
Why do you fear and hate what's old,

To turn love's page, on life's grand stage.
For hatred, like a bitter draught,
Is born from seeds so deeply sown;
From wounds that ache and never fade,
From scars within our hearts displayed.
Perhaps it blooms from envy's seed,
When we thrive while you recede,
