A city of peace and safety
A heaven for all
Children laughs gleefuly
Joy and security within it's walls
Just a girl living humbly
The quiet child, they all called
They know my name
But not my stories
They treat me the same
Just a shy youngster, lovely
Little bit different, but tame
Is how I am, in their memory
Then disaster happened
When the monster came
Numbers of death sharpened
Like a spreading flame
The werewolf's howl deepend
As it started the game
Lock the doors and windows
The higher ups ordered
When the blood flows
By the thing who wandered
The poor and the widows
They were spared, what happened?
Neighbours are worried
Families are scared
Stay inside, mom hollered
Dad had a gun, war he declared
Scent of iron covered the weeds
The beast is near, I'm aware
I woke up in full moon
From the weird sensation and tingles
The answer will show very soon
When the bells of death jingles
It's too late for this buffoon
At sight of flesh, my eyes twinkle
Papers came in storm next morning
High price for my head, they offered
Little do they know I'm hiding
The thing they loathed
The girl, timid and boring
Was the monster they resented
