OUR TOWN
There was once peace and tranquility in our town,
We would work hard under the scorching sun,
All would come to work with their sons.
Female would go to fetch the woods,
Where the elders stood.
Boys and girls would play cheerfully,
Everyone Worked hard but always careful.
Not To ignore the responsibility,
Of inculcating the value of hardwork,
In the heart of their child.
During the night time,
All Would and sing and dance,
As The Moon shone so brightly
Upon the earth.
Women would laugh hard,
Watching their kids.
All would eat rice,
Ready to rise.
Until the whites,
Came And changed our town.,
For the bad.
There's no more peace, but hatred
In our town.
