The smile on my face is real,
It bears witness to how I feel...
The excitement that I feel is real,
This is not some Instagram reel,
My heart spins like a wheel,
Not out of confusion, but joy,
Pure joy, because it's not a thing of toy.
I never thought happiness could be mine,
I thought Cupid was busy sipping wine,
Not listening to my plea and everyday whine,
But he shot the arrow and I almost cried,
Always thought I would have died,
But wait, I thought I had died!
