The Christmas Wish
A poem out of a song,
A song out of my own,
Do remember the falling snow
Do remember the passing song;
Certainly a want I wish for,
Certainly it's fulfilled makes me merry
Until once I saw the old in cold,
Nothing for warmth, nothing but wearn;
Ah! poverty, this flipped my mind
"Let a merry Christmas to all,
Wishes granted and greetings and they've longed,
Smiles and warmth into their homes".
A song out of my own,
Do remember the falling snow
Do remember the passing song;
Certainly a want I wish for,
Certainly it's fulfilled makes me merry
Until once I saw the old in cold,
Nothing for warmth, nothing but wearn;
Ah! poverty, this flipped my mind
"Let a merry Christmas to all,
Wishes granted and greetings and they've longed,
Smiles and warmth into their homes".
