Death
Mourning ones own death
Is a lot like drowning
In the beginning
You panic and gasp for breath,
At first,
You'll feel a weight on your chest
Flushed with denial of situation
You have found yourself in.
But then as you sink
Into the dark abyss dark,
Your mind and body submits
To reality and surrenders
A sense of serenity altogether new
Desends upon you.
The only difference between
The real drowning and emotional one
Is the water you drown only once
But death of the soul and the spirit
Due to emotional drowning
Is a cycle that happens again and again,
Every Night.
