my soul lay down in the dust , shrouded in darkness
damned by the shadows of death
then came a voice from heaven ,
piercing the darkness
"ARISE, AWAKE , THE LIGHT IS COME”
now I'm released from grave , raised from ashes
I stand in his presence again
I'am sustained by his mercy, drawn by his beauty
my heart is ablaze once again.
