Forgiveness is a journey, a path I chose
To release the hurt, the angers, the blues
It's not about forgetting what you did
But about releasing the hold it had on my lid.

Forgiyis a freedoms, a weight lifted high
A chance to heal, to move on, to fly
It's not about you, it's about me
Choosing to let go , to be free.

In forgiveness, I find my strength
A way to move on, to start a new at length
To let go of the past, the hurt pain
And find the courage to love again.
