Two friends walked down the road, side by side
The sun was shining down on them but a storm was brewing in the distance
The wind was starting to pick up,and the trees were rustling in the distance
The laughter faded as the storm clouds rolled in
The joyful emotions faded as the clouds set in
Their steps slowed,and their voices lowered as the first raindrops began to fall
Suddenly a bolt of lightning flashed across the sky
And a ray of hope emerged
As the rain poured,they held each other close
Trembling on each other's feet
Their hearts were pounding as the thunder roared overhead
But through it all,their friendship remained unbroken
