A Small Voice

Knowing that you were beside me,
It eases my mind to think,
That there is still hope left in the world,
In the world of chaos and destruction,
That there is an innocent soul,
In need of guidance,
To grow,
To flourish,
To be who you wish to be,
To have the chance to live more,
To be that one person who will make a difference to the world,
Even if it was just a tiny step,
But at least there is a tiny force to provide a spark,
Towards change,
To let people know that there are more important things to think for,
Because,
Not all of us are the same,
And that there are others struggling to live,
For now,
I will be by your side,
Until I die.
