I've lost you son but I know where you are
In Heaven beyond the blue skies

Sometimes they are tears of joy
Knowing the Lord has set you free
No pain or illness, only peace He's given
And that's just amazing to me!

The pain in my heart has gotten a little softer
But it will never totally go away
Because I love and miss you so much
But I know that I will see you again someday!

What a privilege it is to be where you are
Crystal rivers and those streets of gold
I can't wait until the day I'm there

I've cried so much, a river of tears
