Charmed by your wise smile and your intimate reminsences or reflections.

Your tiny flaws in character are like the creases and folds in unblemished skin.

I can't see them clearly nor that your beauty isn't natural, it's wafer thin.

But you look so gorgeous and I pass over that inflated ego and foolish pride.

I must be shallow to accept it all just for the pleasure of you at my side.

And you lap up the adoration, perhaps take it for granted and eventually cheat.

There we are, two flawed human beings well matched, our sad fate complete.
