Most carry trauma within them
The characters broke inside like I did
with their spine intact using
a therapist and friend as bookends
The characters could not
go against the author’s wishes
but I’ve decided
to write my own story
like a cliché character arc
except I don’t know
whether I get the guy
at the end
I think about the past,
but for some reason
don’t care for prequels
I appreciate a good plot twist
I’ve never thought about
what book I would choose
to read for the first time again
when so many worlds
have been left undiscovered
I hardly read mystery
but lived for the thrill
knowing every character death
didn’t lead to Hell
Was non-existence on paper better?
