Another lifetime
Maybe in another lifetime our love will thrive,
In a different world where we can be alive,
In that parallel universe where we're meant to be,
Our souls intertwined forever in eternity.

I whispered to the sun, setting in the west,
My heart full of longing, my soul so distressed,
I told the moon, hanging heavy in the sky,
My love for you will never fade, it will never die.

I shared with the stars, shining brightly in the night,
My fear of losing you, my will to hold on tight,
I confided in the rain, falling down from above,
My terror of missing you, my fear of losing love.

I spoke with the wind, blowing strong and free,
My promise not to love another, to wait and see,
But the universe whispered back, with a gentle sigh,
Your heart belongs to someone else, you cannot deny.

In another lifetime, we may find a way,
To love each other deeply, to never astray,
But for now, we must accept fate's unyielding hand,
And cherish the memories of love that couldn't stand.

Through the years that come and go, I'll hold you close in my heart,
And dream of a world where we'll never be apart,
Until that day comes, my love will remain true,
And I'll wait for another lifetime, to be with you.
