sense and how to make it
if only there were recipe books
that detailed every little meaning,
eliminating the thick line between
bland thoughts and colorful dreaming.

too much arrives into real
after voyaging on the abstract,
many people shun a tiny belief if
it cannot be proven with big facts.

we must all find the same rhythm
and we must all be on a chart,
our days must be measured with
more emphasis on money instead of art.

coin flips are explained away
as probability and not just luck,
an answer for everything will only
from the soul just drain and suck.

studies of the brain are noble
and examinings of the heart are too,
but we put too much pressure on our
guts and organs to tell us what is true.

when you have your unexplainable moments
of confusion—one at a time will do,
carefully unfold it and hold it
until it makes its own sense to you.
