PUSH AND PULL
Many a river came
to drown among your oceans
I, one among.

In remembrance
I sit quiet.

wet sands
strewn along the shoreline
shallow burbling waters
grazing their fingers, wet;
upon my toes.

In remembrance,
I sit quiet

Everytime;
smeared sands of seduction,
upon my shivering ankles.

Ruffled feathers;
of the pigeon of desires I flew,
with a note.

Only to wash it all away;
in the tides that arrived after.

To push; were you;
To pull; were you;
Today, when the ocean is no more
In remembrance,
I sit quiet.
