Day one , a day of frustrations,
next day , a day of instructions,
Day three was me and my pillow weeping,
For the day before I had followed instructions,
so , day four, got me deep in sorrows mopping.

Day five, I got into a deep fight,
For the next morning I was in fright
Trying so had to be a fix in day six,
I then got to flex in a floss in day seven,
For getting to day eight was but a mission to be even ,
So, day nine I got a saviour in my prayers
For before, I had heard of reduction by the preys.

So today,
I talk of the nine days with colours,
Nine colours for nine auspicious days,
Celebrating the destruction of evil,
And the beginning of a new life .
