THE ART OF UNREQUITED LOVE
I paint him a rainbow,
He gave me a blue sky.
Stitched his own heart,
And broke mine.
I gave him my rhythm,
He took away my melody,
Sang me a sad lullaby,
And left me dancing alone.
I sketched his entire life,
And he tore my masterpiece,
For it was nothing for him,
But I made it with tears and love.
Carved him a statue,
But he ruined every pieces of me,
Put me to endless agony,
And shattered my sanity.
That's the art of one sided love,
A tale of unrequited love.
It's like chasing rainbows,
And finding no pot of gold.
