A DREAM I HAVE
A DREAM I HAVE
I have a dream.
A dream huge,
To drink -dry a stream.
A dream so tantamount,
To lift a mountain.
To lay my love,
At the roots of the fountain.
A dream colossal,
To slay barehanded a whale.
A dream so dominant,
To emerge from the deepest core.
To soar to heavens’ heart.
A dream that clothes the universe,
In a mono- stretch.
Like a cloud.
Casting its shadow across horizons.
A dream, to cast a seed,
On each soil grain,
A dream to be a life- to all souls.
A drop to the thirst,
A voice to dump.
Power to the numb.
Torch to the blind.
Wings to the numb-winged.
Food to the hungry,
A dream, a dream,
That what it- I dream
Though Awake.
