Back in school, we would laugh and cry together
though I was always the one who made you cry
it was either me standing in the rain waiting for you to notice me
or when I was playing ball to see you laugh as I fall
did not care how hysterically foolish i seemed to others
as long as I saw your beautiful smile on the bleachers
and I as walk to class I pass by your class just to see you smile
seeing that would make my day
every morning I would rush to school in the most hectic way
but when i sat down with you, you'd play songs that will calm my chaotic mind
the first time you carried my bag though it was only 3 seconds
i was desperately hopelessly fallen all over you
i knew i loved you the moment i met you
there was something about our energy

who knew? our childhood would pass this way
you grew up
now you learnt to love
you learnt to feel
but what's saddening is that
the person you love is not me
