Family relations are a big issue, very imperative
There's the good and bad, the sweet and sour
The ones who'll stay with you and those that abandon at hour

No one talks about the unusual relations
Ones which are formed when the originals break away traditions
They aren't your color, creed or race to belong
They'll never forsake you when trouble comes along

Some days blood isn't thicker than water anymore
When you are down in the dumps and out, on your face they shut the door
It takes determination, patience, understanding and a whole lot of love
These types of families aren't made but, Blessed by the above

Remember they aren't for your friends but, loving family
At the end of a hard day, it's all you'll ever need
When your past was bad, your present bleak and future misty skies
The ones that are bound to you through it all, your well wishers are your family ties
