Like a Mermaid
Mesmerising
I know she’s real
Not some mythology
Real to me
And that’s all that counts
She kissed me
And I became immortal
My heart anchored and restored
And not with sticking plasters
Papering over the cracks
Ephemeral and misplaced
But rebuilt from the ground up
Reborn as if from the womb
Where the heart always comes first
Genetic engineering
Fibonacci style
All the numbers aline
Love at first sight
Preordained call it as you like
Here I am
Open seas
Riding the waves effortlessly
Walking on water, watch me
A eulogy to all that came before
Powered up like a Thorium reactor
Unlimited giving more than I take
Unconditionally
The magic word
The one that all Lovers seek
Without truly understanding
She opened my eyes
The eyes to the heart
I see clearly now
A clarity that’s ten-dimensional
The watcher, watching the watched
Profoundly overwhelmed with sincerity
Can I trust her
No longer a question
Acceptance I am all in
The quest for answers
No longer a mission
Here I am
