That the deadly parasite plunders
The harvest of the best
Of book worms,vesting it
With absolute dumbness

Alas! it welcomes them into
The perishable cleverness
Of the damned mediocre
Then in pleasure they wallow
Patiently their doom they follow

And oh!
How great the incessant flow
Of their appreciative losses
Which come in payback for the quick rushes
Of the past youthful years
They never knew their secret deals
We're coming real in the open
