I write because it's my voice,
The only way I express what's deep inside.
I write because it's like talking to a best friend,
It makes me feel better every time.
I write because it's my escape and my therapy.
I write because I can't hold these feelings all in.
I write because I feel loved each time I pick up my pen,
I write as a coping mechanism and because it's my lifeline.
I write because I overthink,
And I need the peace it gives.
I write because of bad experiences,that I don't know how to process,other than letting my ink bleed.
I write because it makes me believe again.
I write because I feel a sense of belonging,
Like I'm home.
It's just much more deeper than just art.
That's why I'm passionate about it.
I write because it is my life and I am in love with it.
