I Am Free From The Chains Of Catholicism
Once held by Catholicism's chains so tight,
A captive in the faith's binding embrace.
But now released, I am filled with delight,
And find myself in a state of peace and grace.
Like a bird set free from its cage,
My spirit soars and takes flight,
No longer bound to another's sage,
I now choose my own path and light.
For the first time in so long, I feel free,
Free to choose, to love, to live as I see fit.
And in this newfound freedom, I see,
The true beauty of life, no more will I submit.
