My head is spinning, I can't resist
The chaos within me, it won't desist
I search for peace, but it eludes me
And all around, I'm left feeling empty

I cling to my phone, seeking solace there
Hoping for words that might repair
The shattered pieces of my restless mind
But even that leaves me far behind

My body feels frail, like a fragile thing
No longer in shape, but like a chicken wing
I consider Tinder, to learn how to talk
To strangers, a challenge to which I balk

I can stay inside for months, it's true
But I know I need to change, to renew
My habits and ways, to become my best
