It's time that we ought to come out in masses to protest
That's when you know you are still youn.
What about those teenagers who fought for our independence?

We are all in this; we're to fight this suffering together
But that selfish interest of ours makes us part
Our cowardly attitude is the one doing us bad.

Now if we don't, won't the suffering continue?
Won't we die without making an impact?
Won't this high cost of living lead us to commit suicide?

This is our right; let's right it
It's a peaceful protest, no cause to fight
Let's speak our mind; let's voice out
It's a cooperative fight; no need for us to part.

If we want to protest, let's make sure we are right
Let's not involve violence when fighting for our right
With peace, we can get all we want; with ease, we can clear all those behind bad leadership.

Nigerians, it's time to lift your voice
It's time to let the leaders know that we've seen it all
It's time to fight for our right.
