Lonely

I have lovely friends
I have a lovely family
I count my sadness by tens
Even if I should feel free

It's only me and my thoughts
Only me and my mind
I try to connect all the dots
But I think I went blind

I shouldn't feel this way, I know

It feels like walking on a floe
That could break under my shoe

I feel misunderstood
Loneliness took a huge place in my brain
