When once your breath was mingled with mine?

When I allowed my heart with yours to entwine?
In my laughter, I look for your gentle smile
On every face around me, wondering for a while
If I'll ever find you again in any other man
But I know deep down that I won't
But I somehow I keep trying for as long as I can.

When I peel those oranges when I'm hungry
My most favourite fruit from childhood
And they smell like you,
The scent you'd give off when you'd travel home by train
And tired, you'd hug me
Your shirt soaked in sweat and rain.
You'd hold me like I'm your pain relief balm
Until our breaths mingled,
And your scent, my mind would calm.

How can I forget you?
When I cook myself a meal
You'd waltz into that little kitchen
And like a theif my kisses you'd steal.
You always loved the food I made
You'd eat like it's a buffet in a fancy restaurant
As if for it , a hefty sum you'd paid
And then you'd smile and say
That it was the best meal that you'd had throughout the day
And you were the only one to do that
And now, everytime I cook a meal
I wonder if this pain will ever heal.

Everytime I sit on the back of a bike
I remember the first time we strolled through the city
